Course Description Our Sound course focuses on contemporary sound design and production; combining theory and practice in areas such as popular music, sound for film and games, studio recording, music technology, live sound and sound design. You’ll engage in hands-on learning with our state-of-the-art production facilities, including a real soundstage, recording studio, television studio, drama theatre and surround sound mixing suites to work on music, film, television, games and drama productions. Some of the areas covered in this course are music recording, editing, mixing and remixing; film and television sound recording, editing, mixing and design; sound design for interactive media, games and theatre; industrial sound design; and radio production. When you graduate you’ll have the skills necessary to work in a range of sound industries, such as music production, live sound, theatre, film and television, games and radio.
