Course Description In this course, you will learn about all the major fields in psychology, at introductory and more advanced levels. Areas include human development through the lifespan; biological, social, and cultural influences on the individual person; perception, emotion, learning, cognition, language, neuroscience; personality and individual differences; abilities and disabilities; psychological health and wellbeing, and psychological disorders. The design of our course enables you to develop superior analytical skills alongside contemporary scientific research methods for investigating human minds and behaviour. To build your expertise and expand your career prospects even further, you can combine this degree with another major. When you graduate you could pursue a career in health sciences, human resources, marketing, management, neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, and many other areas. The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). With the addition of a fourth year of study, such as our Graduate Diploma or Honours program, you will be eligible for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
