Course Description The Graduate Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy provides specialised training in the core disciplines of extractive metallurgy - mineral processing, hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy. It has been devised for the benefit of graduates currently working in the minerals industry who now find they need specialised knowledge in extractive metallurgy, and others who wish to prepare for a higher degree in extractive metallurgy (i.e. Masters or PhD). Postgraduate study is all about developing your passion further – a one-degree-fits-all approach just simply doesn’t work for everybody.
