This is an entry-level course, allowing graduates in IT related disciplines to specialise their degrees and providing them with a further qualification in the field. Course Description The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology is an entry-level course, designed to provide graduates in information technology related disciplines with a further qualification in the field. The course emphasises professional practice and effective communication using technical and nontechnical means. The graduate certificate includes some flexibility, allowing you to specialise your degree. Upon successful completion of this course you may continue for a further semester and complete the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management or the Graduate Diploma in Internetworking and Security, dependent on the units selected. Successful completion may also allow entry into the Master of Information Technology program. Graduates of the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology will be able to choose from a variety of IT-related careers, both as IT practitioners and in supervisory and administrative roles within a wide range of public and private organisations.
