专业简介
Designed for medical, biomedical and biological science graduates who wish to work in the field of assisted reproduction.
Students will gain theoretical knowledge ranging from ovarian and testicular biology to assay quality control and the quality management of a clinical laboratory, together with practical experience on the culture and assessment of gametes and embryos.
Course Learning Outcomes
Apply cognitive, technical and creative skills to investigate, evaluate and synthesize complex assisted reproductive concepts and demonstrate mastery of diagnostic approaches in assisted reproductive technology.
Apply communication and collaboration skills to present findings, collaborate with diverse audiences and justify conclusions in professional contexts.
Reflect critically on a complex body of reproduction and medical science knowledge, research, methods and procedures to demonstrate mastery of assisted reproductive technology practice.
Use high level self-management skills and independent judgement to plan and execute substantial research projects and scholarship.
Employment opportunities
Graduates of this course will have competency in andrology techniques. The knowledge and skills acquired will reduce the time taken for specialized in situ training by employers, making graduates more attractive. In addition, the large and growing number of fertility clinics around the world will provide opportunities for skilled graduates.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor degree; or Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience. English Language Requirements accepted: Academic IELTS: An overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band less than 6.0; TOEFL: Minimum score of 573, including Test of Written English of 5 or better; TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 84, with no individual score less than 17; PTE Academic 58, with no score less than 50 for postgraduate standard entry courses; University of Cambridge [Cambridge English: Advanced]: Pre-2015: A score between 58 - 66 with no less than 'Borderline' in any element of the test. Post-2015: An overall score of 176, with no individual band less than 169.

All applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree in medical science, biomedical science or biological science (with Honours - second class or above), or a Graduate Diploma of Reproductive Science or similar, with an average of 65% or above, or a medical or veterinary degree with 12 months experience in reproductive science, with equivalents considered.
