The Master of Marketing and Innovation Management is a unique course in Western Australia, developing marketing managers who are able to tackle complex business cases in national and international contexts.
Students in this course will be able to create value for an organisation, their customers, their partners and society at large. They will be equipped with the skills and knowledge required for a career in customer, product, brand and revenue management, and the skills to research the needs of customers, bring new and innovative products to market, manage channel partners and manage customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This Masters course provides students with the skills, theory and practical experience to audit a market, identify opportunities, and create, implement and manage marketing processes and plans.
Course Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills appropriate to cultural contexts.
Demonstrate mastery of a global body of marketing and innovation knowledge and practice, including knowledge of research principles and methods
Independently initiate, plan and execute a substantial project to meet agreed deliverables.
Justify decisions and judgements that address a complex business issue considering the ethical and social consequences.
Cross-Campus attendance
From 2018 - students will be required to attend Joondalup to complete the Business Units and Mount Lawley to complete the Design and Advertising units.
Practicum option
Students will develop a broad range of work related skills in a public, private or not-for-profit organization at a management level.
Attendance requirements
Students must complete a minimum of 100 hours in an approved work environment. Host organizations may require students to attend work after hours and on the weekends.
Clearances and/or Risk Management Protocols Required
Students must participate in an induction on the requirements and procedures for completing work placement including documentation and risk management.

Employment opportunities
Graduates will be equipped to further their career progression in one of the many marketing disciplines. For those already in senior management, the degree delivers advanced professional development in strategic areas of marketing, such as global marketing, product and service innovation management, and strategic marketing.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor degree; or Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience. English Language Requirements accepted: Academic IELTS: An overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band less than 6.0; TOEFL: Minimum score of 573, including Test of Written English of 5 or better; TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 84, with no individual score less than 17; PTE Academic 58, with no score less than 50 for postgraduate standard entry courses; University of Cambridge [Cambridge English: Advanced]: Pre-2015: A score between 58 - 66 with no less than 'Borderline' in any element of the test. Post-2015: An overall score of 176, with no individual band less than 169.
