Psychology is a science that provides powerful tools and methods for exploring human experience and behaviour.
Psychologists work to assess, diagnose and treat or prevent problems, experienced by people.
Psychologist's work varies. Some support individuals, who are experiencing difficulties, and others design policies and campaigns to benefit communities.
The combination of a social science degree with a psychology specialization is ideal for those interested in the interaction between individuals and the world around them.

When you successfully complete the following Advanced Diplomas and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0, you are guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) with 1 semester of advanced standing (equivalent to 48 credit points):
Advanced Diploma of Interpreting (LOTE - English)
Advanced Diploma of Translating
Alternatively, you can gain entry from RMIT Foundation Studies or a range of vocational study programs.
Further study
When you successfully complete this program, you may be eligible for entry into an RMIT Honours or Postgraduate program.

Applicants must have obtained a score of 25 - 31. Applicants must have completed a recognized equivalent Year 12 studies program to the required standard. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL (Paper Based Test) score of 580 (TWE* 4.5); TOEFL (Internet Based Test – iBT): Overall score 92 with minimum of 20 in all sections; Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): 58 (no communication band less than 50); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
