Our Bachelor of Science with a Major in Human Biology covers a wide spectrum of courses, including Molecular and Cell Biology, Anatomy, Immunology, Infectious Disease, Microbiology and Neuroscience. Our Human Biology major is usually completed in three years of full time study. Eight of the 24 courses that make up your Bachelor of Science degree will be drawn from specialist Human Biology courses. The remaining courses may be used to study a Second Major or a Minor. In addition to the Human Biology courses, you will also be required to complete a Directed Science Research project which provides the opportunity for you to specialise in a particular area of interest and to develop additional fieldwork and problem-solving skills. Work Integrated Learning: as part of the Bachelor of Science degree, you are required to undertake a Science Internship. This is a six-week industry placement in an area of employment related to your studies, which can lead to valuable contacts and employment opportunities.
