The Bachelor of Primary Education (Religious Education) is four-year teaching degree from The University of Notre Dame Australia and combines a robust teaching syllabus with a series of courses in Theology and Religious Education. Upon graduation, you will be accredited to teach in government, independent and Catholic schools across NSW. Like all of our undergraduate teaching degrees, the Bachelor of Primary Education (Religious Education) combines educational theory and classroom learning with rigorous hands-on teaching experience at primary schools across New South Wales. Over the course of your learnings, you will be expected to complete 30 weeks of supervised teaching – building from a single week of classroom observation in Year One to a full term internship in Year Four. Fully accredited by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and the International Baccalaureate (IB), your Bachelor of Primary Education will provide you with the opportunity to teach in many other parts of the world.
