Fully accredited by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia, our Bachelor of Laws program gives students a solid grounding in legal theory and the opportunity to hone their public speaking, mooting and advocacy skills. Through our mentoring program, courtroom visits, mooting and internship programs, our law students are provided with multiple opportunities to experience the law in practice. Furthermore, students are also encouraged to learn outside of the classroom, particularly by attending our Eminent Speakers Series. Notre Dame is the only university in Australia that contains a historic, fully functioning courthouse for student use. Known as the oldest surviving courthouse in Fremantle the Justice Owen Moot Court has been restored by the University community and now provides students with the perfect setting to perfect their advocacy and mooting skills.
