Interested in studying the complexities of maintaining an active, healthy human body? This program will provide you with the skills to make important contributions to wellbeing, rehabilitation and performance.
The Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Sciences (Honours) is a four-year program that looks at how the human body reacts to different types of physical activity, including general fitness, recreation and elite sports. Gain 500 hours of practical training in our modern, well-equipped human performance laboratories and external industry placements, which may include sporting academies, professional sporting teams or hospitals. Choose a specialisation and tailor your studies through elective courses and practicum placements. Specialisations may include elite athlete development, sports conditioning/performance, clinical measurements or health and fitness. Graduate with a respected honours qualification from one of the best human movement and nutrition schools in Australia, which is home to more than 100 staff including experts in nutrition and dietetics, exercise physiology, and biomechanics.

Students are required to complete international equivalent to Australian Year 12 (or equivalent). Academic minimum entry requirements for international applicants vary from country to country. English language requirements: IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6 in each sub-band of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening; or TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score 87 with a Writing score of 21 and Reading, Speaking and Listening scores of 19; or TOEFL (Paper-based): Overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and 54 in Listening and Reading; or PTE: Overall score of 64 with 60 in each communicative skills section; or CAE/CPE: Overall Cambridge English Scale (CES) score of 176 with a minimum score of 169 in each skill; or BEP: A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all four macro skills.
