This program allows you to choose from over 40 study areas across the humanities, social sciences and languages, giving you the opportunity to study the subjects you love. Combine your Bachelor of Arts with 14 other undergraduate degrees including Law, Engineering, Science or Business, enabling you to complete two degrees in a shorter amount of time. Structure your program into two single majors; or an extended major and a minor; or one single major and two minors. Any major can also be studied as a minor. Access state-of-the-art facilities including laboratories, a fully equipped drama theatre, industry-standard media studios and editing suites, and a UN-standard interpreter training facility. Criminology / Extended Criminology draws on sociology, psychology, anthropology and the law to examine the nature of crime and the causes of criminal behaviour. The Criminology major at UQ is distinguished by its focus on crime and public policy, and its strong emphasis on sociological explanations for crime. As a student in the Criminology major, you'll be trained in social research methods and learn how to study crime and its regulation in contemporary society.
