In this industry-focused program you'll gain specialist skills in the analysis, design, and operation of sophisticated aerospace hardware and software. You'll study a broad range of areas such as aerodynamics, aerospace materials and structures, aerospace systems, design, dynamics and control, thermodynamics, and propulsion. Elective studies will allow you to tailor the program to suit your areas of interest and enhance your career opportunities. Sustainability issues are built into multiple areas of the program. When you graduate you’ll have the analytical, technological, and design skills required to practice aerospace engineering. Further study When you successfully complete the Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0), you are guaranteed entry into the Master of Engineering (Aerospace) with 2 semesters of advanced standing (equivalent to 96 credit points). When you successfully complete this program, you may be eligible for entry into an RMIT postgraduate program or RMIT Masters by Research or Doctoral (PhD) program.
