This programme provides the skills and knowledge required for a career in water and environmental management. You will acquire academic and practical skills, as well as developing a detailed knowledge of fundamental environmental processes, and the ways in which these need to be managed sustainably. A considerable part of the programme is taught by leading practitioners including personnel from the Environment Agency of England and Wales, and Defra (UK Department of Food and Rural Affairs). Students who have completed this programme have gone on to work for government agencies both in this country and overseas, water companies and environmental consultancies.
