Programme overview This degree is your pathway to becoming a leader and innovator in the exciting worlds of sport, health and physical education. Whether your interest lies in working with youth or promoting health and wellbeing, this is your opportunity to turn your passion into a career. You’ll learn from academic staff who are recognised internationally for their research, teaching and practice in the fields of sport, health and physical education. You’ll undertake industry experience to build your knowledge and to identify where your interests lie. Programme structure This three-year programme is designed for students to gain specialised knowledge in one area of interest while also developing a broad general knowledge of the worlds of sport, health and physical education. In addition to compulsory core courses, students can choose one of five specialised pathways. Pathways include — health education and promotion, sport coaching and leadership, sport science, health and physical education, and dance. Alternatively, students can choose a range of courses without specifying a pathway. To complete a BSportHPE degree students need to pass courses totalling at least 360 points.
