To get the maximum benefit from this specialised qualification, you must have an undergraduate degree in finance and preferably some experience in the finance sector. To succeed at a senior level in business, or academia, you must be able to communicate your work and findings effectively. The Master of Finance will help develop your oral and written communication skills to the level expected of senior business leaders. You will learn the processes and disciplines involved in high-level in-depth research and how to apply them to business. Relevant learning Massey University conducts an internationally-recognised research programme in economics, finance, banking and property. We are also involved in or lead several renowned research centres in the areas of applied and theoretical economics, financial services, public policy evaluation, financial literacy, real estate, social innovation and sustainable development. The Master of Finance also has a focus on real-world learning. We utilise our relationships with industry and help you draw on experience you may have to give your learning context and relevance to the real world. You will be taught by some of New Zealand's leading practitioners and learn the application of techniques in real world environments, like our Trading Room - the only one of its kind in a New Zealand university. Structure Candidates for the Master of Finance shall follow a parts-based course of study, which shall consist of courses totalling at least 180 credits comprising: (a) completion of Part One and Part Two as defined by the Schedule to the Degree (b) courses selected from the schedule to the degree; and including: (c) any Compulsory Courses listed in the Schedule to the Degree. For progression from Part One to Part Two, candidates must have achieved a grade of at least a B- in each course undertaken in the first 60 credits of Part One , including the compulsory courses.

为来自中国的学生设计 An appropriate undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution is required. English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL iBT- 90 overall (min 20 in Writing); PTE Academic - 58 Overall (min 50 in communicative skills); Cambridge English - 180. 国际学生入学条件 Applicants for the MFin will have met the University admission requirements as specified, and have been awarded or qualified for a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, with a minimum B- grade average in the highest level courses. Students must gain admission as being eligible to proceed into this programme. The MFin is a 180 credit programme, but can be taken as a 120 credit programme after completing a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) in Finance or Postgraduate Diploma endorsed in Finance. Students from a country where English is not the first language, must obtain a minimum English Language competency level. IELTS score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) TOEFL iBT score of 90 overall (min 20 in Writing) PTE Academic score of 58 Overall (min 50 in communicative skills) Cambridge English score of 176 overall and all bands 169 or better
