It is also a biological science, examining the neurophysiological, basis of learning and performance, as well as sensory and perceptual skills. As a profession, psychology is dedicated to the promotion of human welfare. Counselling Human resources Public health Rehabilitation psychology Scientific research Special education Requirements The requirements for the Diploma in Arts endorsed in Psychology are: Pass both 230.111 Tū Kupu: Writing and Inquiry 230.112 Tū Arohae: Critical Thinking Pass 75 credits in Psychology consisting of: 175.102 and 175.203 at least 30 credits at 200- and 300-level in Psychology 15 credits at any level in Psychology The remaining 30 credits for the Diploma in Arts can be from Part II of the schedule for the Bachelor of Arts degree (including further courses from the endorsement subject) and/or courses offered in other undergraduate degrees.
