Take your academic English studies to a higher level with the Diploma in English Language and prepare yourself for further study.
You develop the language and study skills for study at bachelor's level. Some papers in the Diploma in English Language can be cross-credited to AUT's Bachelor of Arts in English and New Media Studies.

入学要求
为来自中国的学生设计
A Tier 1 score in the National University Entrance Examination (Gaokao) at a recognised institution. English Language Requirements: IELTS score 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher; TOEFL iBT score 80; Minimum overall score of 52 in CAE prior to 2015 or a score of 169 in CAE from 2015; or a score of 50 in Pearson (PTE); or B/B+ in Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS); or grade B in GIE.
国际学生入学条件
NCEA or equivalent: 48 credits at level 2 or higher including eight credits at level 1 in any one subject from Classical Studies, Drama, English, Geography, Health Education, History, History of Art, Media Studies, Social Studies or Business Studies, Economics, Physical Education, Te Reo Māori, Te Reo Rangatira or ESOL level 3 credits in reading and writing.
English Language Requirements:
Minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5 overall with all bands 5.0 or higher; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with C/C+ grade; TOEFL iBT score of 70; GIE with C+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 162; PTE minimum overall score of 42.
