专业简介
Science knowledge has more value and impact when people understand it and know how it affects them. At Unitec, you can become a qualified scientist as well as learn how to think and work as a communicator. This is an increasingly desirable set of skills in a world ever changing and influenced by science.
Science can solve global environmental crises if a large number of people are aware and understand them. When you study Science Communication at Unitec, you'll develop the skills and knowledge critical to an emerging industry of science professionals. We've recognised there is a need for science graduates who understand and know how to use communication tools and strategies in their professional practice in order for science to be able to help solve the world's environmental issues.
In this programme, you have the opportunity to pick from a range of courses including those in environmental and animal sciences, business, communication and creative industries; all of which will give you a broad range of skills that will allow you to have a real impact as a practicing science professional.
