专业简介
Lincoln University's four-year Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Planning honours degree gives students the knowledge and tools to critically discuss topical and enduring global issues, to ultimately better manage the environment in a range of contexts, from city streets to the rural hinterland. You will attain a sound understanding of complex relationships between gender, culture, ethnicity and equity and the implications these have for environmental policy and planning. You will also be able to make evidence-based decisions in multi-disciplinary contexts, and make a real contribution to processes that lead to sustainable outcomes. Throughout the world people are faced with an ever widening range of serious environmental concerns such as urbanisation, resource depletion, loss of biodiversity, pollution of air and water, and climate change. The use of natural systems as resources raises complex issues of sustainability, environmental and community integrity, security, efficiency and equity.
As part of Lincoln University’s commitment to the sustainable transformation of land, people and economies, we’ve developed two specialist degrees that offer multi-disciplinary education in the theory, methods and practices of environmental management and prepares graduates for employment in a broad range of industries and sectors.
