This is a four-year integrated Masters programme that includes a ten-week placement with a graduate employer. Our renowned researchers deliver an exceptional training programme that provides a thorough grounding in ecological theory and practice, combining lectures, practical, and fieldwork and small-group tutorials. You will gain a deep understanding and hands-on experience of how these principles are applied in the study and conservation of species and the ecosystems in which they live. Our programmes maintain an excellent record for graduate prospects spanning a wide range of roles including Environmental Consultant, Nature Conservation Officer and Recording Officer with the Wildlife Trust. Alternatively, many of our graduates continue their studies to postgraduate level and pursue scientific research in areas such as soil and crop science.
