The Hispanic Studies and Italian BA is a joint course that allows you to gain expertise in two languages and cultures by devoting equal weight to each. We offer an innovative approach to Hispanic Studies, combining the study of the Spanish language with the study of the diverse range of Hispanic cultures across Europe, the Caribbean, the Americas, and event aspects of Hispanic history in Africa and the Pacific. We will track your progress through a variety of methods, including language assignments, essays, presentations, portfolio submissions and examinations (written and oral). Our Modern Languages graduates work for organisations including: British Council, BBC, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, PWC, Ministry of Defence, TeachFirst, United Nations, Amnesty International.
