This course combines the study of German language, culture and contemporary society with in-depth business. German is one of the most important languages for business in Europe. Split between the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Warwick Business School, this degree combines the study of German language, culture, and contemporary society with in-depth business practice, giving you a range of skills to draw on in your future career. On the Business Studies side you can take many different pathways through your course including human resource management, accounting, finance, principles of organisational behaviour, production and operations management, industrial relations, corporate strategy, and auditing. You’ll spend your second or third year abroad, consolidating and enhancing your learning. We will track your progress through language assignments, essays, presentations, portfolio submissions and examinations (written and oral). Our Modern Languages graduates work for organisations including: British Council, BBC, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, PWC, Ministry of Defence, TeachFirst, United Nations, Amnesty International.
