This joint course is designed for those who wish to begin or pursue a study of Spanish language and literature while continuing to study the English tradition. The English and Hispanic Studies degree offers a firm grounding in English Literature from the middle Ages to the present, and provides a unique opportunity to broaden your knowledge. We will track your progress through a variety of methods, including language assignments, essays, presentations, portfolio submissions and examinations (written and oral). Our Modern Languages graduates work for organisations including: British Council, BBC, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, PWC, Ministry of Defence, TeachFirst, United Nations, Amnesty International.
