This course provides a comprehensive study of chemistry. In Year 3 we offer the flexibility to tailor your course to the subject areas you’re passionate about through an extensive range of options. Through Chemistry we can tackle the energy crisis, explore scientific writing, examine breakthrough medicines or discover how polymer synthesis can be used to design drug delivery systems. You can further enrich your course, and gain valuable professional experience, by extending its duration to include a year in industry. Alternatively, you may opt for a three-month placement in Year 3 (replacing your core lab time).
