专业简介
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science Bachelor of Arts in International Studies is offered jointly by UTS: Health and UTS: International Studies. The degree integrates sport and exercise science studies with a major in the language and culture of another country.
The course provides students with a strong understanding of the processes and mechanisms underlying sport and exercise science, and with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and plan sport and exercise activities in health, rehabilitation, sport, event and education contexts.
Students who complete this course with the Health and Physical Education major (HPE) are eligible for direct entry into the Master of Teaching in Secondary Education (C) (offered by UTS: Education from 2015). This course is formally accredited with the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) and provides HPE students with the opportunity to complete an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.

Students require a relevant bachelor's degree. Successful completion of the China National Entrance Examination (Gaokao) where the total score meets entry standard, or completion of at least one fulltime year at bachelor's degree level at a recognised university or tertiary institution. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall, writing 6.0; TOEFL (Internet-based) - 79-93 overall, writing 21; PTE (Academic) - 58-64; CAE - 176-184; AE5/AE6 (PASS) - AE5.
国际学生入学条件
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.
Admission to the combined degree is on merit according to the admissions policy for the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (C10300). There is a range of entry levels to the various language and culture programs. Students are admitted to the international studies program with no guarantee of entry to a specific major, although every effort is made to meet students' preferences.
The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64; or CAE: 176-184.
