Overview
This course aims to provide a general professional qualification in information technology (IT) to graduates with a grounding in the discipline who seek to broaden or deepen their knowledge of using computers. Core subjects provide a foundation in information systems, software development and computer networking. The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 8.

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology ( B) may apply for associate membership with the Australian Computer Society. Membership may be subject to additional or ongoing requirements beyond completion of the degree. Please contact the relevant professional body for details.

Applicants must have an Australian Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or approved international equivalent. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0; TOEFL Paper-based Test - Overall score of 575 with 5 or better in TWE (Test of Written English); TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing, Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): Overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
