专业简介
Overview
Helping children reach their full potential is a truly rewarding endeavour. Primary school teachers play a critical role in assisting children to develop foundation skills, such as literacy, numeracy, and physical and social competencies, that set them up for life.
In this course, you'll complete a qualifying major (usually in education), undertake teaching methodology units and satisfy BOSTES key learning area content requirements.
KEY FEATURES
Our program is University wide, meaning you learn teaching subjects from experts in each key learning area. For example, you'll learn science from our world-class science teachers and researchers.
You'll be taught by academics who are also researching the latest approaches to teaching. Macquarie is a leader in educational research particularly in the areas of information and communication technology, and maths and science teaching.
You'll participate in a comprehensive professional experience program that integrates your studies with real-world practice.
You don't need to achieve an HSC Band 5 result in 3 subjects (including English) to enter this course, you only need to meet the ATAR requirements to be considered.
