Business leadership skills are highly desirable in contemporary organisations. In the Graduate Certificate of Business (Business Leadership), you will learn how to lead and develop teams at work, how to apply leadership theories to practical situations and how to adapt and transform individual behaviour at work. You will explore the intricacies of strategic leadership at the corporate level, increasing your leadership capability skill set and enabling you to make a difference in highly complex and variable work situations.
Career outcomes
As a graduate, you could pursue a career in general management, business development or business management in a variety of industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, food, transport or information systems. Most senior management roles in organisations emanate from leadership qualifications.
Further study
After completing the graduate certificate in Business Leadership, you have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Business or the Master of Business Administration (Business Leadership).

Students must have Bachelor degree with 1st class/2nd class (2A) honours or a master’s degree with a significant research component or other postgraduate qualifications. English language requirements: IELTS (Academic only) - 6.5 (or better)(no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) - 570 (with a minimum Test of Written English score TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) - 230 (with an essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) - 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) - 58 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 58); Cambridge English Scale Scores for FCE, CAE and CPE3 - Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) with a score of 176 or above. No less than 169 in each skill.
