Become a multimedia professional The Bachelor of Media Arts (Honours)/Education (Secondary) is a dual degree that prepares you for a career as a multimedia professional, as well as a visual arts and graphics educator. You can channel your own creative aspirations, through Animation & Visual Effects, Cross-Media Arts, and Video-Sound-Image courses, while also learning to teach the next generation of talent. Careers The Education program at UNSW prepares graduates to pursue a career in secondary school teaching in New South Wales, Australia and overseas. The Bachelor of Media Arts (Honours)/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) also prepares you for a career as a Media Arts professional. Other career options include policy development and leadership within schools or supervisory, corporate training, customer relations and managerial roles in a variety of industries. Honours The fifth year of the Bachelor of Media Arts is an Honours year. During your Honours year, you will undertake a major self-directed project as well as participating in a Professional Experience Program though industry based internships.
