The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts and Social Science offer a dual degree program which qualifies students for two degrees after the equivalent of four and a half years of successful full-time study leading to the award of the degrees Bachelor of Environmental Management and Bachelor of Arts. Act ethically, respectfully and responsibly Environmental Management Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the study of the environment, to environmental management and to the solution of environmental problems. Demonstrate depth of advanced knowledge in a specialisation of environmental science and management such as Biology, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Chemistry, Geography or Marine and Coastal Science. Work professionally and ethically both as an independent scientist and within teams. Use a range of quantitative methods and technologies relevant to environmental science and management and critically evaluate and systematically analyse data for the purpose of solving environmental problems. Demonstrate broad knowledge of environmental science including interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary competency across the physical and biological sciences and apply this to a wide variety of situations. Review and cogently synthesize relevant literature, and write documents commonly used in environmental science and management. Consider the impact of global diversity and international perspectives on the discipline and practice of environmental management.
