Often considered the heart of any business, marketing is the way in which companies and organisations communicate with the customer base. But as consumers become more discerning and traditional methods of marketing are supplanted by digital-based systems, marketers need to keep ahead of the game. This Marketing Major will provide you with the practical and analytical skills you need to prosper in any business environment. Why study this degree? Like all our programs at the School of Business, this Marketing Major is designed to produce work - ready graduates. To achieve that goal, you will receive individually-focused tuition, participate in team-based learning and contribute to real-world case studies. The program includes a broad range of business courses, plus specific marketing skills, such as advertising and promotion, e-marketing, business research methods, consumer behaviour and international marketing. Graduates from this program often find work government, corporate, and institutional sectors. Moreover, upon the completion of your degree, you will be eligible to join the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). This means that even when you finish the program, you will still have access to cutting-edge theories of marketing, as well as series of training programs and events.
