If you love working with people, then a career in human resource management could be the perfect fit for you. Focused on the effective management of people, this program draws together psychology, law, economics, strategic management and ethics. Your skills will help you assist employees and organisation in a time of rapid economic, sociological and technological change.

greatest asset. As such, businesses are placing a greater emphasis on employee satisfaction and wellbeing, engagement, and development. As a human resources professional you can assist in that process – in addition to working on a host of other challenges facing employees and organisations.
Accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute, our Human Resource Management degree offers both individually-focused tuition and team-based learning. You will acquire vital
knowledge of employment relations, employment law, human resource development, change
management and other subjects. Furthermore, experienced lecturers and regular industry guest
speakers provide insight into the inner workings of corporations.
As part of your degree, you will be required to undertake 150 hours of workplace experience. Our
Business Internship program includes seminars on career planning and professional development, as well as presentations by industry leaders from companies like ICM, Coca Cola Amatil and Microsoft. Graduates go on to work in areas such as internal employee relations, personnel management, recruitment, performance management, and employee health, safety and wellbeing.
