The Master of Occupational Therapy Studies is designed for students with an approved degree and who have completed courses in human anatomy, statistics, human physiology, and social science (including psychology, sociology, or anthropology).Integrate your previous studies with the principles of occupational therapy practice. This program will see you develop the interdisciplinary knowledge and professional skills needed to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Undertake a range of research-focused courses. You will complete advanced training in clinical reasoning and health research, furthering your understanding of the role of evidence in occupational therapy practice. Be confident and job-ready with more than 1000 hours on fieldwork and supervised placements. Our placements reflect the diversity of occupational therapy practice, and meet the standards set by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.

Applicants must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7 point scale and four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least two of the four years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the Executive Dean; OR Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from UQ or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7 point scale. International applicants must complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550. English language requirements: IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6 in each sub-band of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening; or TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score 87 with a Writing score of 21 and Reading, Speaking and Listening scores of 19; or TOEFL (Paper-based): Overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and 54 in Listening and Reading; or PTE: Overall score of 64 with 60 in each communicative skills section; or CAE/CPE: Overall Cambridge English Scale (CES) score of 176 with a minimum score of 169 in each skill; or BEP: A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all four macro skills.

An approved degree in a field (other than occupational therapy) such as health, education, social, physical or biological sciences.
Entry is competitive based on GPA.
University level or equivalent courses are also required in Statistics, Human Anatomy, Social Sciences and Human Physiology.
