Receive comprehensive training in core and advanced-level economic courses. You can also choose from a range of electives to specialise in fields such as environmental economics, health economics, and economic development. Benefit from a program that emphasises understanding and practical application as key approaches to addressing economic problems. You will develop strong skills in research, analysis, and critical- and logical-thinking. Undertake an optional thesis in your final year to sharpen the skills required for a professional career in economics research, whether in industry or academia. You will participate in all aspects of defining and developing your chosen research topic.
