The dual four-year program allows you to combine practical business skills with your interests in equine science. In the equine science component of the program you will study the nutrition, reproduction, exercise physiology, health and rehabilitation, welfare and behavior of horses and explore the interaction of horse and rider. This scientific knowledge is then applied to an industry setting to improve the management, performance and welfare of leisure horses and equine athletes. The study of equine science will give you exposure to the scientific and practical aspects of the horse industry.
The agribusiness component of the program will prepare you for business management positions in industries which demand graduates who are consumer focused, commercially aware, innovative, internationally orientated and technically competent. You will learn about marketing, finance and managing people and technology along the agrifood value chain. You will study business courses in accounting, economics, and market research in an agribusiness context.

Students are required to complete international equivalent to Australian Year 12 (or equivalent). Academic minimum entry requirements for international applicants vary from country to country. English language requirements: IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6 in each sub-band of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening; or TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score 87 with a Writing score of 21 and Reading, Speaking and Listening scores of 19; or TOEFL (Paper-based): Overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and 54 in Listening and Reading; or PTE: Overall score of 64 with 60 in each communicative skills section; or CAE/CPE: Overall Cambridge English Scale (CES) score of 176 with a minimum score of 169 in each skill; or BEP: A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all four macro skills.
