Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics The Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics major gives students an optional pathway for pursuing a research-focused career in hospital pharmacy, the pharmacy industry or academia. During the major, students undertake a research project under the guidance of an experienced supervisor. Student projects can connect with any research area currently being investigated within the School. The major allows students to push the boundaries of knowledge and develop high-level skills in critical and analytical thinking, research design, writing, and project management. Findings from the final research paper are presented in front of academics and peers within the School of Pharmacy. Entry to the major is competitive and is based on your Grade Point Average. Career outcomes Students who complete the Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics major typically pursue careers in research and enrol in Master of Philosophy or a PhD program, where they further develop their research skills and make significant contributions to knowledge. These Master's or PhD qualifications usually lead to careers in the pharmaceutical industry, biomedical research, government agencies, clinical pharmacy, and academia.
