Nutrition Human nutrition is a global term which concerns the way that foods and nutrients are acquired and used. It includes studies in biomedical science, biochemistry, nutrition, behavioural sciences and food sciences. The Nutrition major in the Bachelor of Health Sciences also includes supporting studies in health systems, public health and Indigenous health. This will enable graduates to work as community nutritionists, encouraging the population to achieve healthier eating and reducing the burden of diet-related disease. Public Health Public health focuses on preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health. It's an excellent choice if you are keen to pursue a clinical career in areas like medicine, allied health or social work. The Public Health major will teach you to measure, plan, manage and evaluate health programs and services to prevent illness and promote good health in communities.
