The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering combines our undergraduate engineering program with master's level coursework, research and a semester-long placement with an industry or research partner. Apply for the program directly, or transfer into the program after completing 16 units of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Current UQ students need to meet minimum GPA requirements. See the program rules for more information. Complete a semester-long placement and project with an industrial or research organisation. The placement is designed to integrate your technical, commercial, professional and personal development. Undertake a supervised master's thesis on a relevant topic. You'll be involved with all aspects of research, including defining a research question, establishing a methodology, reporting on your findings, and more.
