Chemical and Environmental Engineering (Dual Major) Chemical and Environmental engineers are accredited chemical engineers who have additional technical skills in waste management and resource recovery, water treatment and sustainable-energy systems. They use these skills to achieve cleaner production performance and to assess the long-term effects of proposed products, processes and developments. As a Chemical and Environmental engineer, you'll apply, assess and communicate a wide range of approaches to the development of sustainable systems, including indicators of sustainability and different methods of community consultation and engagement. You'll have specialist skills in modelling and in analytical measurement in laboratory and field/industrial settings, including basic sampling design and data analysis.
