This programme, run jointly with UCL Economics, combines an in-depth study of economics and econometrics with a solid grounding in mathematical and statistical methods. The programme is suitable for students of high mathematical ability who are considering a career in finance, business or industry. The Undergraduate Preparatory Certificates (UPCs) are intensive one-year foundation courses for international students of high academic potential who are aiming to gain access to undergraduate degree programmes at UCL and other top UK universities.
