Programme overview The global ICT industry is projected to grow by US$1.3 trillion between 2013 and 2020, and technology is New Zealand’s fastest growing industry. As a result there's a huge demand for industry-ready ICT graduates who have the right mix of technological skills and business awareness. The depth of business enterprise and project-based learning sets the MInfoTech apart from other qualifications. During the programme, you’ll complete a 10-week internship where you’ll work on a real-world project. Programme structure The MInfoTech offers two options for students from different study backgrounds who would like to advance their ICT career. 180-point masters students must complete the following: Industry internship worth 60 points At least 45 points from technical skills courses At least 45 points from complementary skills courses Up to 30 points from other approved 600 or 700-level courses 120-point masters students must complete the following: Industry internship worth 60 points At least 45 points from complementary skills courses Up to 15 points from other approved 600 or 700-level courses Where could this programme take you?
