You can take the one-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) as a qualification in its own right after a Bachelor of Arts or as a pathway to a one-year Master of Arts

Art History
Art History is the study of visual images and objects.
Art History develops the skills necessary to analyse and interpret a world that is saturated with images. It provides a deeper understanding of different cultural traditions and historical periods, and teaches us the importance of creativity and the freedom of the imagination.
You can study a range of art forms from many countries, from historical times to the present day. As well as painting, drawing and sculpture, you can explore photography, video, digital and computer-based art, performance art, cartoons, design, weaving, carving, prints and architecture.
Where can Art History take you?
Studying Art History can build skills in creative thinking, design and planning, which are useful for careers in communication and media, marketing, journalism, conservation, exhibition management, galleries and auction houses, tourism, diplomacy, intellectual property and copyright law, and business management.

Advanced taught courses (75 or 90 points)
A small research project such as a dissertation (usually 30 or 45 points)
You may be able to include up to 30 points from other subjects
One year full-time or up to two years part-time

Applicants must have an appropriate undergraduate degree with a minimum average grade of ‘B’ or higher in the final-year prerequisite courses at a recognised institution. Consult faculty guidelines for the grades required. Other English Language Requirements accepted: overall score of 575 plus Essay (TWE) of 4.5 in Paper-based TOEFL; CAE score of 58 or higher, no individual language skill below borderline; CPE score of 45 or higher; PTE overall score of 65 and no PTE communicative skills score below 58; score of 85 in Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB).
