Want to study beauty therapy but don't meet the entry requirements? This programme provides the perfect solution. Successful completion will give you a New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) and will ensure you meet the academic entry requirements for our New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy (Level 4). During this hands-on bridging certificate, you will get to perform basic skincare and make-up techniques in the beauty classroom. As well as more specific learning about human biological science and practical beauty skills, you will also gain foundation communication, career and study skills. Your workload: This is a full-time programme and you should expect to spend around 40 hours per week in study. This will consist of in class, face-to-face teaching, completing assignments and undertaking self-directed study from home. There will be a total of 90 teacher-directed learning hours and 60 student-managed learning hours.
