Lincoln University’s Master of Environmental Policy and Management has been designed to equip graduates with the research and analytical skills needed to understand and evaluate the interconnections between the complex issues often described simply as ‘environmental’. These issues are also entangled in socio-cultural, political and economic contexts and practices at a range of scales. Graduates of this degree will develop advanced skills in research, critical evaluation, problem-solving and communication - and you will be able to meet these questions with solutions. Summary of Regulations Students are required to complete 180 credits of taught courses from the Schedule of Courses for the MEPM over three semesters (18 months of study). Staircase Your Degree Want to begin your Master's study with a smaller qualification or don't quite meet the entry requirements for a Master of Environmental Policy and Management? Start with a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science (one semester), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science (an additional semester). Then you can gain a Master of Environmental Policy and Management with only one more year of course work. Please note that successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma does not guarantee acceptance into the second year of the Master of Environmental Policy and Management.
