The BSc course is very similar in structure to the BA. The difference is there's more emphasis on advanced technical skills. It's suitable for students with A Level Maths. You get the same solid grounding in theory and techniques as you would on the BA. You'll develop the quantitative and analytical skills economists need to make informed judgments and forecasts. The learning and assessment percentages could vary depending on the modules you choose. Some of our graduates become professional economists in government, industry or the City. Others enter related professions - retail banking, investment banking, actuarial and insurance professions, accountancy, sales and marketing, operations and retail management. Recent graduates are now working for Deloitte, Nestlé, Rolls Royce, and Office for Budget Responsibility and the Houses of Parliament. Some prefer to advance their knowledge by studying economics at postgraduate level.
