Our four-year Integrated Masters degree builds on elements of our popular BSc Biomedical Sciences course giving the necessary breadth across disciplines to inform the specialist taught modules in neuroscience. Understanding the human brain is one of science’s greatest challenges. To address these challenges we need highly motivated, well trained, talented neuroscientists. The neuroscience modules cover all levels from the molecular to the behavioural, and are the foundation for independent research projects in the third and fourth years. The programme is intended to provide a stepping stone to further study at PhD level in academic or clinical groups, and to important research career opportunities in the pharmaceutical and medical-device industries. Complementary to research career pathways, the programme also provides a strong foundation for roles in education and management.
