This degree combines a far-reaching range of history modules, which you may tailor to suit the eras and regions of most interest to you as the course progresses. In addition, you will take a diverse range of modules examining Chinese history, politics, and culture alongside optional Mandarin language classes. Our language classes are open to beginners as well as those with prior linguistic experience, and may be taken to degree level. In addition, you may enhance your understanding of China by spending a semester in the country at our campus in Ningbo.

Applicants who have taken foundation courses are normally considered on a case by case basis. Students who have completed one or two years of university study may be eligible for bachelors admission, if relevant subjects have been studied and strong grades achieved. Again, applications are considered on a case by case basis.
