This IFST accredited course is based on our Sutton Bonington Campus, with access to purpose built facilities such as our Food Processing Facility, where you can put your learning into practice. We place an emphasis on the importance of hands-on experience in food sciences, with innovative modules in product development and practical classes an integral part of the degree. We conduct active research into what makes an excellent food sciences graduate and this informs and develops our degree teaching content. The popular option of a year’s paid industrial placement adds further depth and value to your final degree and personal skills set.
