Combining the academic study of education policies, systems, contexts and practices, this course has a practical focus on career development in related areas. You will consider contemporary debates in education and will study broader perspectives such as technology and learning, international education and the impact of globalisation. This course encourages you to critique current policies and practices, and challenge assumptions. You can choose to undertake an assessed placement in a wider education setting such as museums, galleries, NGOs, and social services, and will study a year at postgraduate level.
